76th Church Anniversary and
Homecoming Celebration
November 14, 2010
November 14th, 2010, St. Andrew PB Church where Elder Hartwell is the pastor celebrated it’s 76th Anniversary and Homecoming with a morning worship and afternoon program. St. Andrew was started in 1934 under the auspice of God, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the guidance of Jesus Christ, Elder William A. Holman. It was only fitting that Elder Holman’s Grandson Thomas Holman and the Gospel Imperials brought the song selection service at the morning worship. Pastor Hartwell brought the message, “Thanks be to God who gives me the victory”. He reminded the full congregation that God has kept and delivered you from the horrible penalty of sin. Thanks be to God. Then the celebration continued with Pastor Larry Lockett and the New Hopewell MB Church in charge of the afternoon service. Elder Lockett preached from the St. Andrew Theme Always abounding in the work of the Lord, from I Cor 15:58. He encouraged St. Andrew to trust in the Lord and stay obedient to Him then He will reward you. It was truly a blessed day. Mother Eddie Mae Moore was recognized as being the only member who has been a member of St. Andrew for the whole 76 years. Thanks be to God for 76 years.
