St.Andrew P.B. Church, Pastor is Michael Hartwell, celebrated Old Fashion Day July 31st. Morning Guest Speaker was Elder Benjamin Burt, Pastor of Bell P.B. Church in Decatur. Elder Burt's text was "We come to Worship" He let us know that we should not come to Church to sing in the choir, to usher, to see who is going to be there or what is said, we should just come to Worship. The Second Program kicked off at 2:30 with Elder Wilbur Waddle from Chandler Chapel out of Flintstone Georgia. His Text was "I'm pressing my way through" How can you move forward unless you know where you are going. He used (4) words that are important to accomplish our christian walk: 1. Dissatisfaction, 2. Devotion, 3. Direction and 4. Determination. You shouldn't be satisfied with where you are at, you should only be satisfied with God. You should be devoted to whatever you are serving. You don't forget what people do to you but you forgive and keep moving. Without determination we don't know where we are going. Ask the Lord to show you the way, don't look back, you will end up falling over someone else. You can't stay at home and expect to get to the promise land. AWESOME DAY! AWESOME DAY!
