Saint Andrew Primitive Baptist Church
2011 Installation of Officers & Leaders

St. Andrew P.B. Church, 1393 Swancott Road, where Elder Michael Hartwell is Pastor held their 2011 Officers and Leaders Installation Service on Sunday, January 30th at 11:00 a.m. Elder Charlie Holley of Union Chapel MB Church and the St. Andrew P.B. Church Officers and Combined Choir led the worship service. The 2011 Installation of Church Officers and Leaders Service began with celebrating the baptism of Wendell Curtis, Elijahwan Harris, and Darryl Caudle. The opening song for the program was, “O, Give Thanks unto the Lord”. Call to worship was led by Pastor Hartwell coming from Psalm 100. Minister Buford Moore presented the scriptural reading from, Mark 1:9-15. We were then blessed by praise in motion from SAPB Praise Team. Brother Charleston Moore extended a warm welcome to our visitors and members. The St. Andrew P.B. Combined Choir sang praises unto the Lord, including "Emmanuel, Just Ask in My name, Now Behold the Lamb and I am running for my life". Elder Michael Hartwell, Pastor, St. Andrew P.B. Church introduced the messenger one of St. Andrew's own, Minister Charlie Holley. Minister Holley’s message to the Church was "One more river to cross” Elder Holley’s text came from Joshua 3:14-17. Elder Holley emphasized that we all have Jordan’s in our lives and there are three keys to help us cross the rivers in our lives: follow God- let God lead you. Do not do anything unless God tells you to do it. Second, take a step of faith-first we must praise, worship, trust, and adore Him. Finally, we must Stand still and see the miracle of God. These three things will get us past our Jordan. “There is one final river we all have to cross and that is death, do not worry about that river, because the dead in Christ shall rise.” Elder Burwell, Pastor Mt. Zion P.B. Church then charged the church from Philippians 3, to always press towards the mark. “There will be difficult days but stand fast and keep pressing”. Elder Burwell informed us that one day we shall get a prize and cross over that last river. We were reminded as we serve we must hold fast to the truth, work hard, remember our ultimate leader, Pastor Hartwell and be all that we can be for God! Pastor Michael Hartwell introduced the 2011 Officers and Leaders of the Church. The presence of the Lord filled the sanctuary and all were blessed.
